Who We Are
City of Praise International Ministries is a apostolic and prophetic movement. We are spreading the Gospel and endeavoring to help meet the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of our local communities. The ministry was founded in 2011 by Apostle Ernest Chestine, and is continually expanding. Our vision is to be a place of refuge that consistently reaches souls through community engagement, and building purposeful relationships. We seek to bring God’s people to a place of wholeness by intentionally providing training that will equip disciples for destiny.

Meet our Leaders
Apostle Ernest and Pastor Johanna Chestine
Apostle Ernest C. Chestine Sr was born in Largo and raised in Dunedin, Florida.
He is a humble and gifted servant of God whose ultimate desire is to do the will of God. He has been ministering for over 21 years on the Gospel field for Jesus Christ.
He founded City of Praise International Ministries in 2011 and Jesus Kingdom Fellowship in 2022.
Apostle Chestine desires for the church to be God hands extended to the community and proclaiming the Word of Christ.
Living by the motto for the City of Praise “a place where God can be God,” his goal is to continue building the kingdom of God by shining the light of hope and faith in our community
